Volunteer opportunities include
“Client buddies” for community outings. Events include movies, ball games, bowling, hikes, picnics and museums. You can be a buddy once a week, once a month, or whenever your time permits.
“Adopt a House” with your co-workers and friends to do yard cleanup, landscaping or home improvement projects for one of our clients’ living residences. Organize group outings and/or holiday parties with the house members.
Administrative office help with data entry and bulk mailing projects.
Special events and community relations assistance throughout the year by checking in and greeting guests, decorating, selling tickets, and working in the Silent Auction area. Each event has its own special needs, and all of them are always fun.
Professional and technical assistance in computer consulting, website maintenance, strategic planning, legal consultation, graphic design and newsletter layout.
Fundraising for and participating in Lifehouse’s special events. In our annual “Human Race” in May, for example, you can volunteer to walk with or push one of our clients.
