Lifehouse provides supported living services to approximately 130 clients who live in their own apartment or home in Marin, Sonoma and San Francisco Counties. Support may be as little as a weekly check in or as much as having a live in staff person. Skills taught include: shopping, cooking, budgeting, cleaning, making and going to appointments and other skills necessary to live in one’s own home. Lifehouse also provides residential services to more than 42 clients living in licensed group homes. Some of our homes offer around the clock care for people with profound developmental disabilities, while other homes serve as a transition to independent living. In the over 57 years since Lifehouse was founded, the agency has maintained a vision that no matter what the severity of the disability, goals and dreams can be reached.
