Lifehouse operates nine group homes for people with developmental
disabilities and provides support to numerous individuals who
live and work independently in Marin and Sonoma Counties. Some
of our homes offer round the clock care for people with profound
developmental disabilities, while other homes serve as a transition
to independent living, and provide training in cooking, money
management, transportation, time management, and other basic skills.
In the 50 years since Lifehouse was founded, the agency has maintained
a vision that no matter what the severity of the disability, goals
and dreams can be reached.
With over 300 clients served, there are often job opportunities
at Lifehouse. The agency provides a team atmosphere, great opportunities
for valuable experience working with delightful people, and valuable
training. Duties may include teaching independent living skills,
recreation and community integration, as well as personal care.

F/T Assistant House Manager - Independent Living Skills (ILS):  
Responsible for direct client supervision and training as well as supervision and training of staff as designated by the House Manager.
Acts as clients rights advocate and liaison to the community with regards to the program. Also, s/he works with other service agencies.
Minimum Requirements: Related training or directly working with people with developmental disabilities, BA preferred in social or behavioral
science and/or experience in the field. Salary starts at $23,180.77/year plus excellent benefits, including: health, dental, life,
long-term disability, vacation and AFLAC cafeteria plan.
On-Call Residential Skills Trainer - Independent Living Skills (ILS):  
Carries out individual program plans for the
residents in the ILS group homes, preparing them to live independently upon graduation.
This will include assisting them with reading, math, budgeting, hygiene, housekeeping, etc.
The House Manager or Assistant House Manager may assign additional duties. Qualifications: training or
related experience working with people with developmental disabilities, a valid CDL and safe driving record.
This position may require working weekend and overnight shifts. Salaries start at $9.00 hour.
F/T Manager - Supported Living Program (SLP I):  
Assists 8 adults with developmental disabilities in their own apartments, supervises staff, provides direct training,
and managing and coordinating the program. The manager will live in a separate apartment in the same complex.
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities as well as counseling and administrating are desired.
BA in Social Science is also preferred. However, if you have a lot of experience with this type of job, but don't have
a degree that can be waived. Salary starts at $29,565/year with great benefits, including: health, dental, life,
long-term disability, vacation and AFLAC cafeteria plan.
P/T Counselor - Supported Living Program (SLP I): 
Work with a mildly developmentally disabled client in the community.
You will be training, educating and supporting this client in a specialized day
program for 5 hours a day in a relaxed atmosphere and pleasant surroundings.
Experience preferred, but training is available. The pay is $12.00/hr with great benefits.
F/T Managers - Intermediate Care Facility (ICF): 
Responsible for direct client and staff supervision and training, and maintaining
the household as designated by the QMRP Administrator. Qualifications: BA in Social Services or related field and/or experience
working with individuals with developmental disabilities, supervisory experience, Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
Starting salary is $30,000 with great benefits including: health, dental, life, long-term disability, vacation and AFLAC cafeteria plan.
On-Call Direct Care Staff- Intermediate Care Facility (ICF): 
Responsible for following each client's Individual Service Plan (ISP)
and provide active treatment. Working with adults with developmental disabilities is desired, but can train.
The Managers or QMRPs may assign additional duties. This position may require you to work on weeknights or weekends.
Salaries start at $10.30-$10.82 plus great benefits for permanent employees.
