Robynn was born in Hughson, California, a small agricultural city of 6,100 between Modesto and Turlock. Robynn is the youngest of four sisters, coincidentally all born in July. She left Hughson to attend boarding school in Santa Barbara and came to Lifehouse in 1990.

Robynn keeps herself quite busy with her multitudes of interest. Probably first and foremost is her love of travel. Her hobbies are reading, working on jigsaw puzzles, collecting seashells, cooking, horseback riding, art and movies. Robynn often plays Trivial Pursuits with her family and is the reigning queen of the entertainment category!

Robynn enjoys spending time with her large family and her recent family reunion boasted over 100 people! Around the Lifehouse office Robynn is known for her hat collection, jewelry, and her pet bird Smoky, who comfortably rests on her shoulder. Robynn probably likes birds because she is quite chirpy herself. She enjoys the Lifehouse events, particularly traveling to Las Vegas and Disneyland.

Rita Hannigan has been Robynn’s counselor for 13 years. Rita raved about the progress Robynn has made: “Robynn is a delight to work with. She is responsible, willing to learn and active in determining what she wants out of life. This has helped her to lead a quality life, fulfilled by her family and her independence.”
