Lifehouse will host its 20th Annual Awards Banquet on the evening of Friday, September 26, 2014 at Embassy Suites in San Rafael. Each year Lifehouse welcomes over 350 guests to join us in celebrating the personal achievements of the people we serve and the contributions of our dedicated staff and community supporters who have been integral to our continued success over the past year. This year’s Master of Ceremonies will be Mary Jane Burke, Marin County Superintendent of Schools.

We are currently welcoming community sponsors to join us in making this year’s event a success in honor of Lifehouse’s 60th anniversary. This event is not a fundraiser, and is free to the people Lifehouse supports and our staff. Your support will help make this important event possible!

Our Awards Banquet is a favorite event for our community supporters, providing a valuable opportunity to visit with the people Lifehouse supports in an intimate setting. Team Lifehouse Takes A Trio of Medals at the 32nd Annual Marin Human Race

Rolling across the finish line at the Marin Human Race on Saturday May 10th, 2014 were Team Lifehouse participants Nikki & Mark, coming in first and second respectively in the wheelchair division. Propelled by Lifehouse staff member; dynamo Sharon Edgecombe, Nikki finished the race in 36:26, an amazing 11 minute mile! Mark, expertly powered by Lifehouse board member Joe Meylan, cruised through a few minutes later at 45:13. Lifehouse staff member Ed Collins scored the bronze in his age group at 25:36. Way to go everyone!

It was a wonderful day filled with camaraderie and community! Over 60 people came out for the race to show their support of Lifehouse. Thank you to all of our supporters who have helped Team Lifehouse raise 81% of our goal of $10,000. Show your support of Team Lifehouse by helping us reach our goal of $10,000! On Saturday, May 10, 2014, over 50 of the people Lifehouse serves, staff and supporters will be participating in the Marin Human Race, the largest collaborative fundraiser in Marin. Thank you to all of our supporters who have helped Team Lifehouse raise 67% of our goal of $10,000. Show your support of Team Lifehouse by helping us reach our goal as Lifehouse supporters and the people we serve walk and roll their way across the finish line at the Human Race! Race day features a fun and energizing run/walk/roll around a 5K course, that winds its way through the historic and scenic Marin County Civic Center lagoon and fairgrounds, kids races and activities, a dog walk, the Community Village fair and a pancake breakfast. All race participants must be preregistered and wearing a race bib.
