Nancy Dow Moody

Nancy has been the President and CEO of Lifehouse since 2008 and also serves on its board. She has been with Lifehouse since 1992 and joined as the Director of Services/Associate Director. From 2005-2008, she served as the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, and in 2008 became the President and CEO. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and an MA in Non-Profit Administration from the University of San Francisco, where she was a Merit Scholar and wrote her thesis, and graduated cum laude. She has over 35 years of experience of advancement in the management of programs for people with developmental disabilities. During her tenure at Lifehouse, she has developed numerous new programs. Some of these include the development of new affordable housing for our clients, the coalition for social and recreation programs for young teens and adults, a senior program, supported living programs and currently is the Chair of the Marin Autism Collaborative, a county-wide effort to develop new programs for individuals on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Nancy currently serves on the Marin Autism Steering Committee, and serves on the Board of Directors for Golden Gate Regional Center and Marin Waldorf School.
