HR Assistant (Part Time)

Lifehouse is hiring a detail-oriented HR Assistant who is committed to excellent service. The HR Team at Lifehouse works hard to provide the best support to our employees because they are the core of our success.

This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.

What you will be doing:

  • Main databases for our HRIS, time and attendance system and online scheduling software
  • Maintain employee files; make sure documentation is complete and in compliance with policies and regulations
  • Scan and organize digital employee files
  • Respond to employee questions and point people in the right direction
  • Phone interviews with applicants as pre-screening and reference checks for potential new hires
  • Provide new hire orientations and benefits information; Track clearances for new hires

What you will bring:

  • HR experience – or other experience if you find it will be helpful
  • BA or equivalent would be great
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat
  • Friendly, helpful attitude, willing to go the extra mile
  • High attention to detail
