Financial ConsultantMarc Loupe has an impressive career in finance with over 30 years of experience. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, he started his career in finance as a Certified Public Accountant for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited. His experience boosted him into senior financial roles in the corporate sector, including Oracle America, Inc., XOJET, Inc, and Sun Microsystems. His responsibilities included overseeing internal audits and risk management functions, including assessing the adequacy of the internal controls associated with financial, operational, and information technology activities.
With continuing education from Stanford University‘s Executive Program, Marc continued his career as the Controller of Central Systems West from July 1987 to July 1990. He then moved on to Sitka Corporation to be the Vice President of Finance & Operations for 2 years, garnering him the Director of Finance of Intercontinental Operations position in April 1991. He continued to serve the company as Director of International Development and Director of Internal Audit until May 1998, where he then began his seasoned career at Sage, Inc. He served as Vice President of Finance and Planning for Worldwide Field Operations and then as Chief Financial Officer. He served as Executive Vice President of Sage CRM Solutions and Sage Nonprofit Solutions at Sage, Inc. before becoming Co-Interim Chief Executive Officer and finally serving as Chief Financial Officer of AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah in 2014.
Marc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Business Advisory Council for California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, and the Financial Executive Institute. He is also the Technology Chairperson for the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco. Marc has served on the Lifehouse Board of Directors and is now a member of the Lifehouse Advisory Council.
